Love love love this movie :3. Biopic of Richie Valens, a very young Mexican American dude who was able to make it big in the music scene when America was far more racist. He exploded with popularity, but unfortunately his life was cut short. I’m genetically engineered to love oldies (and lowriders), especially his stuff. Even if it’s not your cup of tequila, it’s a very interesting look into California at that period of time. (Need to watch when I get home)

Edit: Along with Selena, he has to be one of my favorite Mexi-Murrican people because he was much more American then Mexican, despite being raised around Mexican culture. Both could barely speak Spanish XD. Ahhhh, my idols <3
